About Dr. Slaughter

Dr. Scott E. Slaughter is a 2003 graduate of Kirksville High School.  While in high school, he was involved in varsity sports, National Honors Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and was a recipient of the school’s prestigious Tiger Award.  Upon graduating from Kirksville High School, Dr. Slaughter attended Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.  While attending Missouri State University, he was an active member of the Student Athletic Trainers Association and served terms as the club’s treasurer and president. 

Dr. Slaughter served as a student athletic trainer at many levels, including Missouri State intercollegiate varsity athletics, Springfield area high schools, and local Springfield sports medicine clinics.  After graduating Cum Laude at Missouri State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training, he attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri.  There he was a two-time recipient of the Dean’s List Award and completed all necessary requirements to earn his degree of Doctor of Chiropractic in December 2011. 

Dr. Slaughter is currently a member of the Missouri State Chiropractors Association and the Kirksville Optimist Club.  Dr. Slaughter holds his certification through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) as a Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic after completing and passing all required examinations. 

Dr. Slaughter holds his license as a Chiropractic Physician in the state of Missouri with the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  Dr. Slaughter enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends as well as partaking in various outdoor activities. 

Dr. Slaughter and his wife, Brandi, currently reside in his hometown of Kirksville.
